"caption": "LO STM amplitudes retain pair S-wave forces and extend spectator l=0 through 4. A lower complex contour avoids outgoing poles and cuts while preserving the real regulator endpoint. Independent below-threshold principal-value amplitudes, conjugation, angular projections, grids and contour depths pass. Inclusive breakup comes from elastic loss 1\u2212|S|\u00b2; optical balance is an algebraic normalization check, not an independent integrated exclusive three-body flux. Two cutoffs and the last retained wave diagnose sensitivity, not a complete EFT uncertainty or partial-wave bound. The later quartet l=0 exclusive calculation supplies one independent flux control; doublet/higher-wave exclusive distributions, charged breakup, thermal rates and finite-field matching remain unfinished.",
"alt_text": "Neutral partial-wave amplitudes become absorptive above deuteron breakup. Inclusive loss rises continuously; higher spectator waves contribute at 10 MeV, with small displayed cutoff differences.",
